Happy New Year to all of our Campus Life Friends –
A friend recently said to me, “Hey Jim, anything new going on at Campus Life?” It makes me laugh as I think of all the weekly programs and activities that we have here. The question is a good one, especially in light of the scripture above. It’s great to look back and be reminded of the awesome things God has done. It strengthens our faith and reminds us of God’s continual guidance, protection and provision. However, we can’t be so busy looking back that we miss opportunities God is laying out in front of us. We can’t dwell in the past for God is doing many new things. During our annual Campus Life Board, Staff and Volunteer Christmas party, I had the chance to share with everyone some of our 2025 initiatives, ways that we believe that God is “doing a new thing” here at Campus Life. I won’t get into specifics right now, but in general:
additional Sunday church services in the juvenile jail, multiple women’s ministry events throughout the year, a mother-son event as an offset to our annual Father Daughter Ball, Reborn Chicago missions experience here at Campus Life, and a new men’s Bible study opportunity, just to name a few. We are moving forward, and we are expecting God to do some amazing things this coming year. We don’t know what they look like in their entirety, but we have been prayerfully and
diligently seeking God in making plans for 2025.
I hope that you are ready to be a part of this incredible voyage with us into 2025.
Our 15th annual Campus Life Father Daughter Ball is just over a month away, February
7th & 8th. What a wonderful event for dads and daughters of ALL ages. Girls, invite your dad. Dads, invite your daughters. What a great way to say I love you, I value you, you are special.
