Ripe for Harvest...

Jim Green
Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the LORD is to be praised. ~Proverbs 31:30

Dear Campus Life Friends –

As guys, we don’t really like to show emotion.  Maybe it’s just the way we were raised, the whole big boys don’t cry thing.  But at our recent Father Daughter Ball, many guys had tears in their eyes as they danced with their daughters.  There is somethings so sweet and special about that dad daughter relationship, and as I saw men tear-up, it reminded me of dancing with my own daughter last year, and for many years before that as well.  Now she’s married and has a child of her own, but deep down, she’s still my little girl.

Maybe you can relate.  Our daughters are so precious, and God has given them to us for such a short period of time.  At this year’s Father Daughter Ball almost 600 dads and daughters, of all ages, spent a quality evening together.  Enjoying each others company and investing in this special relationship. This community outreach event is a tremendous amount of work and expense, but it’s hard to put a price on building memories that will last a lifetime, and build a true legacy. Thank  you to everyone who helped make this event a HUGE success.  We couldn’t have done it without you.

Here at Campus Life there is no slowdown during the winter months.  Club programs, Bible studies, senior adult events and outreaches are all moving forward.  Every week hundreds of people come through the doors here as we help people move

one-step closer to Jesus.  Many more are impacted as we go into the juvenile jail and area assisted living facilities.  If  you are interested, we can a find a place to get you involved.

The fields are ripe for harvest, we just need more workers.

Often times people will ask about the future of Campus Life. We believe that the future is VERY BRIGHT for the ministry and look forward, with great anticipation and excitement,

to what the Lord has for us.  He has blessed us in the past and we believe that He will

continue to bless us into the future. You are a major part of what is happening here and we appreciate all that you do to keep the ministry moving forward.  Your prayers and financial support are vital and we are blessed to have you as partners in the ministry.

    Serving the kingdom together,
