Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way, you will fulfill the law of Christ. - Galatians 6:2 NIV
Dear Campus Life Friends –
A couple of weeks ago I was heading out to my Men’s Bible study in the Cedar Lodge. I was kind of puzzled because one of the men was standing outside and it was cold. When I asked him about it, he said that he was just waiting for a new guy that he had invited to join us. That caused me
to think, wow, there’s a lot of power in a personal invitation. At Campus Life we don’t advertise much, and when we have advertised the results have been mixed. What has accomplished
a lot is the personal invitation. We see it in student club programs, Bible studies, senior adult programs and volunteer recruitment. Personal invitation communicates beyond the words. It says, you are important and I care enough about you that I want you to share something that I have found to be helpful, beneficial and special in my life. Almost all of the 60 or so men in Men’s Bible study have been invited by someone in the Bible study. Men, as well as women, crave connection, empathy and spiritual growth. I just think it is really great that what they have found they want for others and not just themselves. All, by the power of a personal invitation. Pretty cool.
Within the past couple of weeks, you should have received our Fund-A-Cause appeal letter for the new roof on the Campus Life Family Center main building. We’re trying to raise $50,000, which is a big ask (it’s a big roof). As always, if you can help us out we really would appreciate it. And thank you to those of you who have already mailed in your donation.

Thank you for your continued support of this ministry. As always, your generosity is GREATLY appreciated. God’s provision, through His donors always amazes me, and always humbles me. Thank you so much for answering the call and for being a trusted partner with us in the ministry. We couldn’t do it without you. May God bless all of you as you have been, and are, a blessing to the ministry of Campus Life.
Serving the youth and families of the area,
